April 2012
My third official mixtape since the Conceptual Ambience Show!
A journey through the woods, a sense of waldeinsamkeit. The initial uneasiness upon entry, leading to the discovery of complete freedom and eventually the feeling of euphoria before reentering civilization.
February 2012
I'm crawling out of the depths of winter with a new visual short, In The Light Of Awakening, featuring music by André Obin:
“The pure present is an ungraspable advance of the past devouring the future. In truth, all sensation is already memory.”
- Haruki Murakami, Kafka On The Shore
“In the light of awareness, the constructed self of our identification relaxes. And what is seen is just the process of life, not self nor other, but life unfolding as part of the whole.”
- Jack Kornfield, A Wise Heart
Much appreciation and thanks goes to André Obin for allowing me to use “Golden Hair” as the soundtrack for In The Light Of Awakening. The song’s urgent beat nested in dreamy synths made it the perfect audio piece for portraying the overall feeling of these dreams.

Happy 2012 Errbody!
This past Autumn, I was lucky enough to become friends with an amazing lady, Caseylin Darcy. And through that friendship, we discovered a mutual life long goal: healing and providing mindful outlets for sexually assaulted women. After a few months of brainstorming, networking, creating and sharing our idea, the Sacred Yogini Project is born! A yoga movement lead by Caseylin, which helps heal women who are survivors of sexual trauma.
Here is the freshly launched website: www.sacredyoginiproject.com
The website will continuously be updated with news and ways to join the movement. Also, The Sacred Yogini project was just named one of the "Twelve Sweet Ideas For Maine In 2012" in the Portland Phoenix! You can read the article here: http://portland.thephoenix.com/news/132109-twelve-sweet-ideas-for-maine-in-2012/?page=2#TOPCONTENT
Please feel free to pass along this information to anyone interested. It's all happening so fast, but what an amazing ride!
November 2011
Just teamed up with the spectacular André Obin. I'm working on a visual counterpart to a track set to release later this winter.
Keep your eyes out and in the meantime, ears open:
Currently editing an entertaining tale set on a potato farm. More details to come.
Spent a chilly day in an amazing location within the farms of Freedom, Maine spotlighting the plan to rebuild an old water mill with Compass Light Productions. The drive to work toward sustainable energy using a traditional water mill to not only grind grains, but also try to get local farmers to grow the grain and therefore feed the local economy is an amazing process to learn about and capture.
October 2011
I released my second official mixtape since the Conceptual Ambience Show. Inspired by the the turning leaves and seeping with earthy goodness.
Worked with the wonderful Cig Harvey on a photo shoot for the novel The Orchard by Jefferey Stepakoff. Can't beat spending the day working in a beautiful orchard, eating fresh apples. Keep a look out for Cig's work on the new cover!
Phew! After a whirlwind 2-month production, Anatomy of the Tide is wrapped! Make sure to check out Lottie Hedley's amazing photo documentation of the production here.
September 2011
Very exciting times, the documentary An Unknown Silence which I was the director of photography, sound, and head of post-production will be premering in November on PBS WCNY at 2pm.
Yeehaw! My video for Woman Was The Word was featured on The Creators Project (!!!) in an interview with the ever-amazing Eloise Hess.

Currently working on the feature film Anatomy of the Tide in beautiful midcoast Maine. Production starts September 4 and runs through the beginning of October.

March 2011
br> I was asked to create a three
piece video and the album art for Woman
Was The Word: A Multimedia Project curated
by Absent
Fever. This
project focuses on the under-appreciated female artists across
all different mediums.
See the full project here: Absent Fever
"Woman Was the Word is a project envisioned in observation of the nature in which women are present in the art world, specifically in regards to music. We found that though women are present, their presence is often unknown or unrecognized. While most fields are male dominant, this may not be entirely true in visual arts and music. Women are present, but in a community like the blog community, the presence of their talents can often go under-appreciated in the almost camouflage nature of blogging. The idea of the project was to unveil and illuminate the persistent talents of females whilst tying together all aspects of this community. We asked three remarkable female bloggers to write pieces, poetry, stories, about anything that made them feel inspired to put pen to paper. The three bloggers who participated were Holly of East to West, Katie of Heavy Percussion, and Nada of Friends With Both Arms. Those three pieces they wrote were then interpreted by three female musicians who we asked to make original songs inspired by the writing. The three musicians who participated were Elizabeth Rose(who’s song was inspired by Holly’s piece), Rachel Levy (who’s song was inspired by Katie’s piece), and Yohuna + Adelyn Rose (who’s song was inspired by Nada’s piece). All three songs were then sent to a female artist and videographer, Heather Daniels, who created one video for all three tracks. In result, we’ve received art across all mediums that pay magnificent tribute to the work of women in this world and we’d like to share it with you. You can download the three songs here and below are the three pieces written by the bloggers for the project:
Elizabeth Rose- ” Throw Me To The Stars ” (Inspired by East to West)
Rachel Levy- ” Pierced “ (Inspired by Heavy Percussion)
Yohuna & Adelyn Rose- ” All The Slow Songs (Waiting) “ (Inspired by Friends With Both Arms)"

I'm working as the editor of the new series 617 out of Boston. We have an amazing cast and crew, including south Boston's very own Slaine. We just wrapped shooting and now it's time for some serious post-times.
I just teamed up with the new and freshly launched digital label, Absent Fever. I'm working on a very cool project with them, which should launch mid-March. But in the meantime:
" Eloise of verb/re/verb and I are starting a free digital release label called Absent Fever. The first four artists on the label are the brilliant KYNAN, Guerre, Galapagos, and Wonder Bear; all of whom are creating incredible innovative sounds. Aside from exposing emerging young talent via free music, Absent Fever’s goal is to also incorporate visual based mixed media art in order to further the connection between music and visuals. Our first release is KYNAN’s monthly album, Birthday Blues, a super eclectic album which you can/should download at our bandcamp. Aside from releasing music and working on various other multi-media projects, we’ll be continuously making podcasts similar to this one that we’ll post on the Absent Fever site.
